Light Farms, a neighborhood in Celina zoned to Prosper Independent School District, hosted its annual Sunday Funday Fall Festival and Market event on Nov. 13 at the Light Farms Barn Yard. The event featured a petting zoo, local farmers and vendors, and live music.
The event had food trucks and more than 20 vendors who provided food, handcrafted furniture and jewelry and home decor items. Collin County Animal Services, a local animal shelter, was also in attendance providing pet adoption services.
Republic Property Group, the Light Farms community developer, planned the event on Sunday. Creative Director Morgan Staton said that the goal of the group is to facilitate a neighborly environment for all that live in and around the community.
“Our goal for Light Farms has always been to create a community that appeals to our residents as well as North Texans alike,” Staton said. “We aim to develop programming and events that allow our residents to spend time with their neighbors and enjoy the community, and members of the North Texas community can attend and feel welcome and inspired.”
