We love gardening – there’s something about getting your hands dirty and watching something grow that is not only personally rewarding, but when done as a team, binds people together in a very organic way (pun intended). It is in that belief that we created our first community garden. Nestled in a park in our Sage neighborhood are 6 planters, which have recently been adopted by groups of residents from each of our neighborhoods. Under the supervision and guidance of our master landscaper, they tried out their green thumbs and planted squash, okra, eggplant, melons, broccoli, a variety of tomatoes and peppers, greens and herbs like lavender, oregano, basil and thyme.
