Light Farms Montessori Academy is open and accepting students from the Light Farms community and North Texas.
The new school provides day care and traditional Montessori schooling with Montessori certified teachers and curriculum for ages 6 weeks to 6 years for half-day, full-day or extended day.
The school features an infant room for ages 6 weeks to 12 months, a 12 to 18-month room, two 18 month to 3 year pre-primary rooms and three 3 to 6 year primary rooms. An after-school program, summer camps and field trips are currently in the works upon enrollment numbers.
The school also provides both breakfast and lunch daily for students. The grounds of the school feature a playground and an area for play. This spring, the campus will also feature garden plots for students to plant and tend their own fruits and vegetables.

The school’s mission is to help guide and support every aspect of a child’s development through the Montessori teaching approach. Vineeta Bhargava, Owner of Light Farms Montessori Academy, has been providing Montessori education to preschoolers for the last 15 years. Her specific program follows the method of Dr. Maria Montessori, which helps children to reach their fullest potential by teaching them academics, practical life skills, motor skills and social skills through self-discovery, observation and interaction with their peers.
