Have an electric car? We have a new electric vehicle station at the Barn Yard thanks to ChargePoint! Conveniently located between the Information Center and the Gym, getting your charge on is super easy. Here’s how it works:
- Set Up An Account. Go online to ChargePoint’s website and set up an account…OR, you can just come to the Sales Center and we can help set it up for you. Easy!
- Activate your card. When your card arrives by mail, just log in, go to My Account, and follow the instructions under Set Up ChargePoint card.
- Download the mobile app to start charging! This also takes less than two minutes. You can get the mobile app
- Juice Up. Tap your ChargePoint card over the reader symbol, press the handle button to remove the charging connector, and simply plug in. After you’re done, tap your card to end the session, then unplug the connector and return it to the station. You can also sign up and start a session all from the ChargePoint mobile app.
And… it’s ABSOLUTELY FREE for our residents!! For our guests (non-residents), it is free for the first two hours!
Since ChargePoint began, its Electric Vehicles have saved over 3.8 million gallons of gasoline and avoided 28 million pounds of greenhouse gas emissions. Light Farms is enthusiastic about joining this initiative, not to mention creating a fun way for our residents and friends to travel around!
