Anita’s Sweetwater Story

Anita Hardwick can hardly wait to move into her new home in Sweetwater, a vibrant and active community nestled in the north end of Light Farms. For the past year, her daughter Juli, also a resident of Light Farms who lives in the Bluestem neighborhood, pitched the idea to her mom of moving to Sweetwater. Anita was ready for a new adventure and to be closer to her family, and is building a beautiful new home which will be ready for move in come this October. “I’m excited about being an active member of a new community and making new friends,” said Anita. She and her dog Henry, a large golden doodle she compares to Clifford the Big Red Dog, have been living nearby while her home is still under construction. Both are eager for more space and excited to move in to their new neighborhood.

Right – Sizing without Compromise

Homes in Sweetwater start in the $200’s and are exclusively built by Taylor Morrison, America’s Most Trusted Homebuilder for the last 4 years. “The homes are smaller than the typical homes at Light Farms, but thoughtfully designed for a variety of situations. As a retiree it fits my needs perfectly. My floorplan has two bedrooms, one will be an office and a flex room I can use for my music space.” Sweetwater’s floorplans embrace function and maximize gathering spaces like the kitchen and living area. Sweetwater’s homes are created to meet modern needs such as two master bedrooms, energy efficient design and included free lawn maintenance.

Backyard Oasis

With five grandkids, and two of them in Light Farms, Anita and her family will have plenty to enjoy together right in her neighborhood. The sandy beaches of Constellation Park are practically in her backyard. In addition to kayak and paddleboard rentals, there’s a playground with a rock climbing wall, a dog park for Henry, campgrounds and plenty of walking trails where the kids can ride their bikes.

She’s also looking forward to enjoying the exclusive clubhouse for Sweetwater residents only, the Sweetwater Amenity Center. With a scenic overview of the lake, this space features a group fitness area, co-working space, catering kitchen, private pool and indoor/outdoor lounge areas. Sweetwater even has their own Lifestyle Coordinator, who programs fun monthly events like wine tastings, bunco nights, water aerobics and pilates classes. In addition to their own neighborhood specific events, Sweetwater residents also have access to all of Light Farms 200+ yearly events.

#LightHeartedLiving

Anita is starting to see her new home come to life. “I can envision my furniture and I can’t wait to decorate!” Soon her family will be able to join her for Sunday dinners in Sweetwater, as her new home has plenty of space for a large dining table where her family can all be together. So this October be on the lookout for Anita with Henry and her grandkids all living light hearted. #lightheartedliving
