We know you are picturing hitting pickles with rackets… we always do. But really, this (increasingly popular) game is a mixture of tennis, ping-pong and badminton; it uses wooden paddles instead of rackets, has a wiffle style ball and is coming to Light Farms! We are currently retrofitting one of our 4 tennis courts to make way for 4 pickleball courts, which will be ready for action in a couple of weeks.
If your next thought was “but I don’t have a pickleball set!” – don’t worry! Like all other games in The Barn Yard, equipment will be conveniently located in the Information Center should you need to borrow it. Stay tuned for more info on this exciting new amenity as it unfolds!
