Tractors as art? You bet!

By December 15, 2014 No Comments

We take special pride in the rich and authentic agricultural origins of our property (corn, cotton, and milo were once farmed here). If you’ve been to Light Farms, there is no doubt you have noticed the colorful, restored vintage tractors that line our main entry along Dallas Parkway. You’ve maybe event noticed the additional three that are thoughtfully placed throughout the community. If not, finding them makes for a fun scavenger hunt!

Now, even more polished historic tractors will be making an entrance. Presented along Frontier Parkway will be a red 1945 Avery A (once used on a chicken farm), a green 1934 Oliver Hart Parr (chased after by collectors!), a red 1942 Worthington Model F (once a cotton-picking machine) and a gray and red 1951 Farmall M (obtained locally—just north of Celina!). We are thrilled to be adding even more color and character to our favorite historic community!
